20 April 2010 - No news has been good news!
It is very refreshing to finally update the news section of our website.
Last year, was a true test for our team. It has not been easy to ask them to sit still for a while, but it has been rewaring to watch them find a careful balance between keeping a close eye on the market for recovery, whilst also making sure that our projects are moving forward at a sustainable pace.
We are pleased to say that Emmaus Developments is in a strong position with two very interesting projects going live in 2010. The first is our long awaited 29 lot subdivision in Beeliar, named the Zuvela Estate. This estate has already attracted $3 million in presales and we have had to put a temporary halt to our marketing efforts to avoid the estate from selling out too quickly. Construction is due to start in July 2010.
The other project will be classed as the newest commercial and residential building to be constructed in the suburb of Duncraig. Located next to the main shopping centre on Marri Road, the building will house 8 apartments with over 1,300m² of office and retail space. Construction is anticipated to start towards the last quarter of 2010.
We will also be updating our website not only with a new look and feel, but also with details of these projects. For the time being, feel free to direct any sales queries to Fred Burnett at (08) 9263 8818.
Talking about changes, we have also seen some very interesting developments on the other side of the Emmaus camp. Emmaus Projects has been flying the flag with client side project management and development consultancy services. We have recently moved premises and are growing a strong portfolio of projects and clients. It is exciting to see daily advances in our internal systems, technical expertise and overall project delivery.
We are looking forward to showcasing our new advancements on our website.
Stay tuned. It will be a good year.
05 January 2009 - Grabbing the bull by the horns!
So here we are, the year of the ox. Or here at Emmaus, we’ve decided to settle for the more general term – 2009! We are sure you would agree that it has been a welcome relief to recoup on the somewhat eventful year during the holidays and rethink the strategies that would be followed to make 2009 strong and buoyant. Although the market might not be out of the woods just yet with real estate sales and values still looking for direction, there is much to be gained by investors and developers with an eye on what to look out for.
Emmaus’ main focus will be to use 2009 as a platform from which to launch future projects. There is a general consensus in the real estate market that we are once again heading for a shortage of housing in WA. With a continuous influx of immigrants and more recently ex patriots returning from the UK and the US, rental vacancies are at record lows with building application approvals falling significantly in the last quarter of 2008. Economists believe that Australia is one the countries that will recover quickest from the global downturn and those who will benefit are the prudent and diligent investors who will be prepared for the upturn through smart property investments.
At the moment there are some stoking properties coming up for sale it is worth getting the due diligence in place, along with planning and development approval while the market gains momentum. What some do not always recognize is the length of time attached to gaining these approvals and one would want to benefit from selling in a buoyant market, thus now not being the time. Our advice would be to examine the potential of each project in detail and get those approvals in place whilst being on the look out for well priced properties. We like to refrain from using the phrase, but yes….. “It is a buyers market”!
Emmaus Projects is also coming up with a range of new ways to better our service and brand awareness, so don’t be surprised if you stumble across us in other media sources. We also wish to thank all our clients for their kind feedback of our service during 2008, as we are putting together a segment on our website to post your good comments.
We will definitely be grabbing this ox by the horns in 2009. Happy new year to you all!
15 November 2007 - The site is live!
It is our pleasure to at last have our long anticipated website go live. It is not just a great reference point for anyone interested in land and property development, but we can now provide the additional service to our clients of tracking their own developments online. We've got some great stuff on here, so enjoy the browse!
Also a big thanks to the very talented team at Aurora Art and Design. Jamie, Sissi and John have really proven their worth in delivering a site that Emmaus is very proud of. Their services always come at our highest recommendation!
25 October 2007 - Emmaus Projects kick off their marketing
Emmaus Projects have recently launched their "inside the box" marketing campaign. For those of you who were lucky enough to walk away with a David Jones voucher, we thank you for taking part in the promotion! It has all been very well received and it's astonishing to see how many land and property owners have always wanted to develop themselves, instead of just selling their property on the open market.
Our business has been created just for you, because we believe that you should have every opportunity when it comes to realising the potential of your asset! If you would like to get in touch or request a brochure or presentation, click on the "solutions" area of the site. We're always happy to "paint a picture" and give you better insight into what we do!
