Project Communication Management

Experienced project managers will always agree that poor communication is the biggest contributor to project scope creep.

Due to land and building project stakeholders not always having regard for each other’s costs, timeframes and milestone priorities, they often take a one dimensional approach in responding and communicating with each other.

We therefore make sure that our communication program is supported by a well defined and consistently revised communication plan. Our management and implementation strategy is also designed not to burden the team with unnecessary reporting or paperwork responsibilities.

It is more important that the project team and stakeholders are familiar with their communication matrix, preferred communication channels, expected quality/clarity of communication, roles and responsibilities in meeting requirements and formal/informal reporting preferences.

Our communications management service will:

  1. Make sure that your project is monitored and controlled by an independent person that will assess the quality of understanding between communication parties.
  2. Assure that stakeholders are conducting their own risk and quality management to their individual project areas when sending and receiving communication.
  3. Assure that communication is clear and concise, thus eliminating the need for rework and reassessment.
  4. Independently evaluate the communication content to asses whether any risks and opportunities exist in meeting the project deliverables and milestones.
